Tankclean Services Ltd are currently recruiting for an office administrator for an immediate start.

Tankclean Services Ltd provides tank cleaning services for tank containers and road barrels. Based in Dublin Port, Tankclean is the only EFTCo tank cleaning facility in Leinster. Tankclean Services specialise in cleaning ISO tanks and liquid bulk containers, catering for chemical grade and food grade tanks.

The ideal candidate for the role is a flexible problem-solver who has superb communication skills and a detail-oriented mindset. This person should have experience thriving in an administrative role. Effective multitasking and a unique ability to handle the unexpected are essential qualifications for the position.

Responsibilities/ Duties: 

  • Communicating with truck drivers on arrival to Tankclean to acquire details of the wash required for their tank
  • Answering the phone and dealing with customer queries
  • Liaising with depot manager and washbay operatives via radio r.e. tank washes
  • Dealing with customer’s e-mails/ queries
  • Liaising with accounts department in relation to invoice queries
  • Review and printing of weekly sales reports for accounts department
  • Ordering of safety equipment, PPE, supplies, etc
  • Promote a strong Health and Safety culture

Required skills and qualifications

  • Proven success in office administration
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong time-management and multitasking abilities
  • Proficiency with office applications, and aptitude for learning new software and systems
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of company information
  • High school diploma or equivalent

References required

Hours of work: 8.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday

Tankclean Services Ltd provides tank cleaning services for tank containers and road barrels. Based in Dublin Port, Tankclean is the only EFTCo tank cleaning facility in Leinster. Tankclean Services specialise in cleaning ISO tanks and liquid bulk containers, catering for chemical grade and food grade tanks.

MAIN PARAMETERS OF JOB:

The Wash Bay Operative is responsible for ensuring that all tankers are cleaned to the prescribed standards enforced at that time.

The Operative shall be aware of health & safety regulations in force and will conduct their business complying with such legislation at all times.

The Operative shall be responsible for ensuring that the work environment is kept dear and tidy at all times and prevent hazardous obstructions from occurring that may be detrimental to themselves or other users within the wash bay site.

The Operative will at all times take instructions from the Depot Supervisor.

The Operative will be working as part of an experienced team.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. To ensure all tankers entering the Tankclean site are cleaned to the prescribed procedure.
  2. To treat all users of the cleaning station in a courteous and considerate manner.
  3. To ensure all safety equipment and clothing is used at all times whilst working within the wash bay.
  4. To maintain general housekeeping & to ensure that the Tankclean site is maintained in a presentable and clean condition.
  5. Not to refuse unreasonable requests for overtime work; which may be prescribed by the depot Supervisor; from time to time

     The Person

    This role will require a professional individual who is highly organised, with great attention to detail and has experience of working in the logistics & warehousing sector.

    Duties:

    • Assign customer sales to transport in the most cost effective and efficient way to make a delivery.
    • Plan and assign SORs to drivers and confirm booking dates.
    • Strive to ensure that all delivery requests are met for all customers.
    • Maintain driver, and customer relationships.
    • Create reports and delivery schedules for customers and different departments.
    • Liaise and communicate with Customer Services and Sales to identify issues that may affect the agreed delivery time, in order to keep the customer updated.
    • Work closely with the Sales team to ensure that accurate order information is obtained before a delivery is scheduled.
    • Ensure self-management of workload and multitask by communicating with customers across different communication platforms.
    • Maintain files and records and provide quick accurate information when required.
    • Work to a high standard and take responsibility for delivering all expected tasks.
    • Meet targets and deadlines to the required standards and within agreed timeframes.
    • Show initiative, act with confidence, and show ability to work under own direction.
    • Demonstrate commitment to the company values.
    • Ensure good relations and communications with all members of the company and provide excellent customer care in an efficient manner.
    • Continue to identify ways in which further improvements to performance and service delivery can be made to our customers.

    Criteria:

    • Recent experience within a Transport Planner position or similar industry.
    • Good geographical knowledge of Ireland
    • Comfortable communicating with all levels of the business.
